Associate Professor Michael-Shawn Fletcher and the Indigenous Knowledge Institute will be running a series of workshops designed to help people apply for the ARC Discovery Indigenous grant scheme in 2023.
The workshops are open to all Indigenous staff and PhD students at the University of Melbourne.
Registration is essential.
The workshops will be delivered both in person and on Zoom. Light catering will be available.
- Workshop 1 - 12 October (Meeting room 101, Level 1, Old Geology Building - this room is only accessible by stairs. Please let us know if you have access requirements)
Introduction to the Discovery Indigenous scheme. Michael will introduce the scheme, the steps you need to take to apply, considerations for applying, and how to develop a good proposal. If you already have an idea for your proposal, bring it along to the workshop.
Develop and then pitch your idea to a mock ARC panel and get feedback.
Workshop focussed on writing your grant application.
