Building partnerships to embed Indigenous knowledges in business and economics education

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags flying on flag poles. There is a sandstone building behind the flags. The photo is taken from close to the ground and pointing upwards at the sky. A blue sky with a couple of clouds is visible and you can see the tops of two trees with green and some yellow leaves.

This project will run a series of four workshops and invite representatives from two local Indigenous-led organisations to attend.

Supply Nation will assist in understanding what avenues there are for working with Indigenous businesses to incorporate guest lecturers, employment pathways and work integrated learning opportunities into our undergraduate educational experience.

The Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation will be consulted to assist with better understanding how local Indigenous onto-epistemologies that can inform teaching and learning on their country, where our campus is located.

A foundational pat of these workshops is to ensure that these objectives can be achieved in a safe and respectful manner.
